Rob Nielsen
Creative Director

Creative director Rob was born in North Queensland, Australia, he’s half Chinese and half Danish, has an Italian wife and a daughter named India.

Over the past twenty years Rob has worked for some of the world’s best advertising agencies, both in the UK and abroad, as an art director, writer and creative director. Over that time he’s produced award-winning work on brands like Heinz, McDonald’s, Nintendo, Gordon’s Gin, Mars and the COI, and worked on projects in Singapore, Milan, Paris, Munich, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Sydney.

He’s designed deck chairs for the Royal Parks Foundation and written and directed commercials for The Independent Newspaper, Littlewoods Pools, Norwich Union and Gumtree. His category experience spans FMCG, financial, alcohol, telecoms, health and beauty, and retail, among others.

Rob’s work has won awards at Cannes, D&AD, Creative Circle, EuroBest, Clio, One Show, British Television Awards, the Australian Writers & Art Directors Awards and the IPA Effectiveness Awards. Rob was the Regional Creative Director (EMEA) at Saatchi & Saatchi (London) working on the Head & Shoulders brand for Procter & Gamble.

More recently he was the global executive creative director at FCB (Hamburg) for Beiersdorf, including the Nivea and Nivea for Men brands, responsible for driving, developing and overseeing creative work across all media.

Rob’s interests include tennis, snowboarding and blowing his own trumpet.
