Vik studied at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, specialising in international law and human rights. She trained as a commercial solicitor before moving into the charity sector, working with charities in London, Paris and N Iraq.

She helped setup a legal charity taking human rights cases of Turkish Kurds to the ECHR, headed up Fondation France Libertés’s NGO in Arbil (N Iraq), building schools and delivering aid, and engaged in fact-finding missions in Iraq and Turkey for the UN Commission on Human Rights.

Vik then worked for the UK government for several years before joining big fish in 2003.

Her role is to ensure fair play and good governance at big fish, and to make certain we respect and look after our clients, our staff, our community and most of all the environment. She is currently in charge of taking big fish through the B Corp application process and reducing our greenhouse gas emissions to net zero.

Vik is married to Perry and they have three daughters.
