Weini has been looking after us since September 2014, alongside her best friend, Heiwot. The two of them quietly sweep into our studios every night, working their magic and restoring calm to the chaos we leave behind. Few people realise just how vital this kind of work is, but we certainly do, and we’re endlessly grateful for it.

Weini is also a proud mum of two brilliant boys. One is a scientist, the other an economist. When she’s not keeping big fish ship shape and spotless, she’s at home cooking her favourite dish, lasagne, from scratch of course. She’s an unwavering Arsenal fan, but we can forgive her that!

Born in Eritrea, Weini moved to the UK in 1996, which was just two years after big fish® began. We’re incredibly lucky to have her and Heiwot as part of our family, and we can’t thank them enough for everything they do.
