On the brink of extinction back in 2008, we were very proud to have helped rescue this iconic British kitchenware brand. In fact our founder’s wife, Vik, threatened to declare a national state of emergency if Cornishware was allowed to die out – so really there was little choice!
Having teamed up with entrepreneur Charles Rickards to take ownership and revive its fortunes, the brand imperative couldn’t have been more straightforward: restore this to its former glory! We set about digging back through the archives to establish just what made it such a classic and followed our hunch to respect the heritage and always honour that simple stripe.
Now flourishing and gradually finding its way back into households both in Britain and overseas too, we can all sleep a little easier…
