Howdah
Howdah is an Indian snack business that we rebranded, redesigned, helped market, found investors for … and even invested in ourselves!

We loved Howdah’s idea of bringing the flavour and fun of Indian snacks out of the World Foods aisle and into the upmarket crisp category – and of being able to give this area a proper makeover. Our design took traditional illustration and put it inside bold colours to give a sense of luxury and heritage, while our messaging focused on raising the excitement in the taste and authenticity of all the flavours involved.

Howdah is the perfect example of our ‘in good we trust‘ motto being brought to life. It is a profitable, commercial business that uses its brand to help others. Its purpose is to help Indian children who are going hungry: every pack sold buys a child in India a much needed lunch. The clever twist is that this just happens to be at school – two birds with one stone!

Their rallying cry is “Give back as you snack”.
