Rohan Blacker and Pat Reeves founded a business in 1997 called Deliverance, which we were fortunate enough to be involved in helping them brand, design and market. We became good friends and in 2006 they kindly invited us to work with them in setting up their new venture in online sofa retailing.

Since its launch, sofa.com has revolutionised the furniture retail category. This disruptive challenger brand played by its own rules: never taking the drug of discount or indulging in price promotion – and always focusing first and foremost on fantastic products, service and personality to win them an evangelical following.

Everyone said they were mad to think that people would buy posh, good value sofas online. Seems those sceptics were wrong!
